Our Story

Hello and welcome to Siberian Pines!

We are a small cattery dedicated to quality, care, and the preservation of the Siberian cat breed's high standards. We are located inside of Jacksonville, NC city limits, and are currently the only CFA registered Siberian Cat breeders in the region.

Our discovery of the Siberian Cat breed began as a simple search for a pet cat.

As a family with babies, friends, and other animals, we had certain needs when we began our quest for the perfect family feline. We needed a low-maintenance cat who could be trusted around small children, dogs, and new faces on a constant basis while maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude. Having family members with some serious cat allergies certainly didn't set our ambitions high. Our search seemed hopeless until we stumbled across the Siberian Cat breed. Elegant, adorable, and cuddly were all words used to easily describe these beautiful kitties. It was love at first sight from the very first encounter!

However, our passion quickly encountered a challenge – there were no breeders in our area. The nearest ones had long waitlists (50 plus!!!!) and even they were 4+ hours away!

So, drawing upon our combined experience in breeding some of the finest pets, one with golden retrievers, the other with Dutch Rabbits, we dedicated ourselves to solving this problem once and for all, so that families and individuals like yourself would not have to travel far to find that sweet-sweet love only a Siberian can give.

Thus, Siberian Pines was born right outside the beautiful shores of the Crystal Coast, Jacksonville, NC.
